Decisions answered. Part one.

I woke up late this morning (what a surprise) so didn't have time to shave. The "goatee" lives for another day.

I am left thinking how long it will be until I figure out that I look too trampy and throw the towel in. I do of course have the luxury of shaving at the moment. Still, there is always tomorrow!

On a money raising note, I have nearly reached the £200 mark, which I am very grateful for. Thank you to all of you who have donated so far.

I recall mentioning that I would deliver a photo of Mummy and I, but as yet have not pestered my brother into taking one. He is at work the moment. I shall nag him tomorrow after I take mum to radiotherapy.

Further decisions updates to follow...

Beardybeard update...

...and so many decisions!

This photo goes realllllllyyyy big should you dare to click it.
In my last post I mentioned a goatee that I had been cultivating. It probably isn't good news that it's annoying me a little bit now. I might get rid of it tomorrow morning, I shall see how I feel. That's motivation right there! I'll work on that before November! That's decision number one.

The second decision is regarding where I grow my facial hair in November. I could go all out and just not shave. OR I could shave everywhere leaving my moustache emphasised! I shall ponder this over the coming months. Your feedback is more than welcome (if not expected).

Finally, I need to figure out when my last shave is going to be. If I shave on November 1st then I will waste a few days with very little stubble. If i shave a week before the 1st, then I stand more chance of actually growing a half decent (and hopefully half impressive moustache. I do fancy the idea of looking like Ron Burgundy (see post 1) or Albert Einstein. I shall also ponder this, but I think I will give myself the extra week. After all, I still won't shave in November.

Let the pondering commence.

BYEEE!
x

P.S. You will have to excuse the bags under my eyes, bad photo etc. I have just come off an 11hr30min shift.

Can't, Won't, and Mustn't.

I can't wait until November so I can start not shaving. Now, I was told as a child that "there is no such thing as can't", clearly I can wait, and I will have to wait due to the fact that there is not a flux capacitor enabling time travel (yet).

I won't make this a long post as I am about to head out with a good friend of mine for some food. Be it Nandos, a carvery or a KFC I do not know (yet).

And finally, I mustn't spend all of my money on eating out. This is vital as I am still working away to try and slash the size of my overdraft. Nandos will be sure to challenge this, and this is not good, seeing as I'm nowhere near £0 (yet).

I have finally shaved (see last post for lack of motivation for shaving). I have left a bit of a goatee though, and am thinking I might leave it for a while. No picture today, but I shall update you over the weekend. By then, it will look silly enough.

FOOD CALLS!
Bye.

cooking with hair...

...on my face

I still can't be bothered to shave. This stands me in good stead for November.

I think I shall shave tomorrow before I go to work. I look a bit of a mess as you can see.

Good day.

feeling the pressure

So I have just posted this blog on my fb and google+ and am feeling pressured to put up another post. There isn't much for me to update you on, I'm taking Mum to radiotherapy tomorrow morning (which probably means its bedtime), and to the hospital for another treatment in the afternoon.

I do, however wish to test putting some photos up here to show you all. So here is my face. I have not shaved in a few days. A little show of whats to come...

Is this in the middle?

I shall get an updated photo of my mother and myself for you all to see over the coming week.

But for now,

Goodnight.

Welcome to my new blog. :)

So, as many of you are aware, my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer at the begining of the year.

I really wanted to raise some money for the Breast Cancer Care charity, so I am going to be participating in "Movember". I shall not shave my upper lip (and maybe the rest of my face) for the whole of November.

If you could all spare a few pennies and pounds for this great cause, I would be very grateful!

I can be sponsored at the following link: http://www.justgiving.com/henrysimms/
Thank you all in advance, and a huge thank you to those who have already sponsored me. :)

The expected face growth!!!
